Detection Principle

The fluorecare® HbA1c test utilizes the double antibody sandwich method based on immunochromatographic assay technology.

When a sample is added, HbA1c binds with fluorescently-labeled antibodies to form antigen-antibody complexes.

These complexes diffuse along the nitrocellulose membrane and are captured on the test line (T).

The signal intensity of the fluorescent antibody is positively correlated with the HbA1c concentration in the specimen.

The MF-T1000 analyzer processes this signal using a pre-set calibration curve to display results in percentage (%).
