The fluorecare® Free Thyroxine (fT4) Diagnostic Kit is a quantitative immunofluorescence assay developed by Microprofit Biotech for measuring fT4 levels in human serum or plasma. It is an essential component of the thyroid function panel on the fluorecare® POCT platform.
Detection Principle
The kit uses a competitive immunodetection method. Free T4 in the sample competes with coated antigens for fluorescent-labeled antibodies. The resulting signal intensity is negatively correlated with the fT4 concentration, which is then calculated and displayed by the fluorecare® analyzer.
